D2300 Automatic Height Restrictor

D2300 Automatic Height Restrictor combines the benefits of a standard height restrictor with an automatic gate.

It was originally designed to provide a solution to a specific client problem, which required free access to cars whilst only allowing higher vehicles to pass when a remote control button is pressed. Similar in construction to our successful range of automatic cantilever sliding gates, these height restrictors are fitted with fully compliant safety systems, and are almost silent in operation.

The fully welded steel construction and heavy duty catch post ensures the highest level of security, and the D2300 is compatible with any access control system. Gate drive is by three phase motor which operates from a single phase supply via an inverter. This is controlled from a fully programmable plc system to fully controllable operation with slow down features and programmable timing should the client wish to hold the unit open for a set time.

Feig Controller

All UMD gates feature a Feig control system with inverter and are fully pre-wired and factory-tested, ready for connection to your mains power supply. With a wide range of adjustable parameters, installers can easily customise the system to suit specific site requirements.

Reliable and almost silent in operation, D2300 gates are powered by an inverter-driven motor and gearbox, providing three-phase control with single-phase economy. This ensures exceptionally smooth operation of the height restrictors.

SAFETY

The D2300 is equipped with class-leading safety systems as standard, including six Category 3 safety edges, twin-height photocells, a cabinet-mounted emergency stop button and flashing beacon/sounder. Combined with UMD control software, the system delivers rapid safety response times, with flush-fitted limit detectors and canted drive-post safety edges helping to minimise trapping hazards.

Rollers

Our 8-wheeled polyamide rollers ensure smooth, near-silent operation while effortlessly supporting gate weights of up to 600 kg.

The D2300 can be integrated with our other products, such as barriers. These systems can be configured to operate in synchronisation or programmed to switch between operations at set times, providing flexible and efficient site management.

Design

The D2300 is engineered for structural strength. Built from 80 × 80 steel box section, with 80 × 40 cross members and a 120 × 80 bottom section, it delivers a robust gate frame designed to protect your site.

Finish

UMD sliding gates are finished in our purpose-built automated powder coating booth, designed to deliver a consistent, durable finish across the full gate assembly. The controlled process provides uniform coverage to edges, welds and detailed areas, reducing the risk of thin spots, runs or missed sections. Most standard RAL colours are available as standard.
