Traffic Lights For use with our range of automated access products, these efficient LED traffic lights can also be used in other traffic control applications such as loading bays, weighbridges and ports. The resilient polycarbonate housing is self-coloured in black and is UV and fade resistant, ensuring the product remains maintenance free.

Slot-in polycarbonate hoods prevent interference to visibility from other light sources or adverse weather conditions. Lenses and door screws are both vandal resistant.

Flexible fixing arrangements make installation simple, with a choice of spigot pole top fittings or swivel brackets to fit any surface.

100 mm round spider web lenses provide optimum light diffusion, and LED lighting elements ensure maximum durability and minimum operating cost.

UMD product Integration

Both traffic lights can be integrated with most UMD systems, and we can pre-fit them to your equipment prior to delivery to simplify on-site installation. We also offer entry and exit control solutions for gates and barriers. These systems ensure safe traffic flow by allowing only one signal to display green at a time, depending on whether an entry or exit command has been activated.
We offer custom-made posts tailored to your specific requirements. Our range includes standalone bolt-down posts as well as posts designed for integration with barriers or gates, ensuring a flexible solution for any setup.

Bollard Type Post

We offer a bollard-style post designed to blend seamlessly into urban environments. These can be manufactured in stainless steel if required, and are fitted with Doktec traffic signals for reliable performance. This design is particularly well suited to town and city centres, where aesthetics are important, providing a discreet yet functional solution.

We offer two types of traffic lights, both designed for reliability and ease of installation:

  • Dok-Tek 24VDC Red/Green (100mm diameter): A fully potted unit housed in a durable plastic casing, designed to mount flush to a post. This compact, robust design makes it ideal for fixed-position applications.
  • UMD100RG 24VDC Red/Green (100mm): A more traditional traffic light style, supplied with a swivel bracket. This allows for flexible positioning and easier installation where angle adjustment is required.

Both models are high-quality, dependable solutions suitable for a wide range of traffic control applications.

Traffic light options

Finish

UMD traffic light posts are supplied as standard with a zinc primer and polyester powder-coated finish, providing durable, long-lasting protection. For more demanding or corrosive environments, we also offer galvanised finishes and C5M plasticoating for enhanced resistance and longevity.
