D4350 3/4 Height Turnstile

Originally designed for an underground tunnel, the 3/4 height turnstile has become a popular option for applications where limited headroom precludes the use of traditional full height turnstiles, but where the client requires a more secure alternate to half height units.

The reduced height allows turnstiles to be assembled in site access cabins, for example, and still allows the head mechanism to be accessed for maintenance purposes. The fully welded steel construction is designed to provide an extremely robust product for extended use in high traffic applications.

The 3/4 height unit is available with the same colour combinations, logos and access control mounting solutions as our full height units.

D4350 3/4 Height Turnstile Features

DESIGN

The D3450 3/4-height turnstile is manufactured from robust steel box sections to provide a strong, durable structure, making it ideal for building and construction sites. Its reduced 3/4-height design enables installation inside porta cabins and other areas with limited headroom.

The D4150 can be equipped with LED red/green pass-through indicators, providing clear visual guidance to users. Operating in a traffic light-style system, these indicators intuitively signal when access is permitted or restricted, helping to improve user flow, safety, and overall efficiency at the turnstile.

PLC CONTROLLER

The D4350 is supplied as standard with a Schneider PLC controller, delivering advanced functionality and reliable performance. The system features an on-screen text display, providing clear, real-time status updates to assist installers and maintenance teams. This includes diagnostic information such as fault conditions, as well as operational messages (e.g. access open signals being active).

ACCESS CONTROL

The D4350 is supplied with a standard mounting plate to enable easy installation of access control equipment. The plate measures 150mm high by 100mm wide, with larger plate options available upon request.

The D4350 operates with a 90-degree rotation, creating a controlled and narrower passage. This design helps prevent tailgating and ensures that only one person can pass through at a time.

All UMD turnstiles are supplied as standard with a primed and polyester powder-coated finish, providing a C4 protection level, with a range of standard RAL colours available at no additional cost. For more demanding environments, alternative finishes are available, including galvanising and plasticoating, offering enhanced protection and long-term durability.
