D6000i Swing Gate
D6000i Swing Gate (Integrated In-Post Drive) designed for applications where performance and aesthetics must work together, the D6000i swing gate combines robust steel construction with a fully integrated in-post drive system – delivering powerful operation with a clean, discreet finish.
Manufactured from fully welded mild steel, the D6000i is available in both single and double leaf configurations, with spans up to 10.0m (5.0m single leaf) and heights up to 3.5m – making it suitable for a wide range of commercial and industrial access points.
The system is powered by a 3-phase, inverter-driven motor with a wormed gearbox, housed internally within the gate post. This design ensures reliable, near-silent operation while protecting key components from external damage and environmental exposure. A lockable removable door provides easy access for maintenance and manual override, combining security with practical usability.

D6000i Swing Gate (Integrated In-Post Drive) Features
Controller
The D6000i utilises a FEIG control panel, with software co-developed by Ultimation, providing a highly configurable platform featuring hundreds of easily accessible parameters for installer-level adjustment and fine-tuning.
A key advantage for swing gate applications is the implementation of a true master–slave configuration achieved using only a 5-core connection. This enables both gate leaves to operate in complete synchronisation, responding seamlessly to all control inputs and safety activations while maintaining consistent performance and system integrity.
The D6000i is driven by a three-phase electromechanical motor and gearbox assembly, engineered to deliver high torque output with exceptionally smooth and efficient operation. Integrated with a FEIG controller, the system operates from a single-phase supply while retaining the performance advantages of a three-phase drive, ensuring optimal efficiency, reliability, and control. This configuration incorporates a FEIG encoder, providing high-resolution positional feedback for precise motion control and enhanced system accuracy.

Single leaf option
The D6000i is available as a single-leaf configuration, capable of spanning openings up to 5,000 mm with gate heights of up to 4,000 mm. As standard, it is supplied with a dedicated closing post and a 500 kg-rated magnetic lock, ensuring secure and reliable closure. The system is also equipped with dual photocells mounted on both the main post and closing post, providing comprehensive safety coverage and obstacle detection.

GATE INFILL OPTIONS
A wide range of gate infill options is available to meet security and design requirements. Standard choices include vertical steel tubes, welded mesh, and palisade systems, with additional options such as composite boards and timber cladding.
Custom sheet steel panels can also be laser-cut with logos or branding, combining strong security with a distinctive visual identity.
Post Types
1. Standard Post (Subsurface Fixing)
The standard post is designed for installation with the base plate positioned 300 mm below Finished Floor Level (FFL). This configuration allows for initial mechanical fixing of the post, followed by installation of ducting and cable infrastructure. Final backfilling and consolidation can then be carried out once all services are in place and post alignment/levelling has been completed.
The offset post utilises the same installation depth of 300 mm below FFL, but incorporates an eccentrically positioned (offset) base plate. This design facilitates installation in restricted or boundary-adjacent locations, such as against brickwork or structural walls, where standard base plate positioning would be impractical.
2. Offset Post (Subsurface Fixing with Eccentric Base Plate)
3. Surface Mount Post (Above-Ground Fixing)
The surface mount post is designed for installation directly at FFL, eliminating the need for excavation and backfilling. This configuration enables rapid installation and is particularly suited to sites where subsurface works are not feasible or must be minimised.
