Technical Support Built Around Real-World Performance
UMD’s technical support offering is designed to give installers and customers confidence before, during, and after installation. Backed by a dedicated in-house support team, we provide practical assistance from specification and commissioning through to diagnostics, fault finding, and ongoing product support.
Our factory-based testing rigs are used to replicate real on-site issues, allowing faults to be investigated and resolved in a controlled environment rather than by guesswork. This hands-on approach helps us identify causes quickly, improve response times, and deliver proven solutions that work in the field.
We also provide engineering training both on-site and at our factory, supported by dedicated product walls displaying a wide range of control panels, operators, and drive combinations. This allows engineers to gain practical familiarity with systems, wiring layouts, and setup procedures across multiple product types.
All technical control panels are supplied directly from the FEIG factory, integrated into our product control boards, and fully tested before being released to the assembly team. Completed products then undergo final operational testing within assembly, ensuring systems leave our factory ready to perform.
For account customers, a dedicated support line is available with detailed call logging to monitor recurring issues, track response history, and improve service visibility. Regular root cause reviews of commonly reported faults allow us to remove problems at source and continually improve product reliability.
