D4150 Full Height Turnstile

D4150 Full Height Turnstile is a well specified heavy duty turnstile at a competitive price.

Designed for applications ranging from public access such as at theme parks, and stadia, to construction sites and secure area access control.

An overhead canopy is fitted as an option, with the additional option of LED downlighting for full visibility and weather protection for users. Generously sized access control reader mounting pads are also provided at no extra cost.

The D4150 has been designed to a higher specification than similarly priced turnstiles with a more rigid construction and larger diameter rotors. The unit is powder coated for maximum rigidity, and is available in a wide range of standard colours.

For construction sites and temporary locations, we offer a steel base with fork lift pockets to allow turnstiles to be relocated as required.

Canopy

The D4150 is available with an optional canopy, designed to enhance both functionality and durability. Manufactured from steel, the canopy is pressed and folded to create a robust double-skin construction, providing a strong and stable structure. The integrated design allows for the inclusion of LED downlights, improving visibility and user experience in all environments. This canopy option is available across all D4150 configurations.

The D4150 can be equipped with LED red/green pass-through indicators, providing clear visual guidance to users. Operating in a traffic light-style system, these indicators intuitively signal when access is permitted or restricted, helping to improve user flow, safety, and overall efficiency at the turnstile.

PLC Controller

The D4150 is supplied as standard with a Schneider PLC controller, delivering advanced functionality and reliable performance. The system features an on-screen text display, providing clear, real-time status updates to assist installers and maintenance teams. This includes diagnostic information such as fault conditions, as well as operational messages (e.g. access open signals being active). An integrated 24-hour time clock is also included, which can be enabled to automatically control LED downlights when fitted, enhancing both efficiency and convenience.

Access Control

The D4150 is supplied as standard with entry and exit access control housings. Manufactured from pressed steel sections and fully welded to the turnstile frame, these units feature a double-skin, box-type construction. This design provides a robust and secure enclosure while allowing installers to neatly conceal wiring and connections. The housings offer easy access to cabling, ensuring straightforward installation and seamless integration of access control equipment.

The D4150 is engineered as a robust and reliable solution for high-traffic environments, designed to withstand intensive, continuous use. Both the frame and rotor are constructed from fully welded, heavy-duty steel components, ensuring maximum strength, durability, and long service life. The rotor pivots on a sealed roller bearing, providing smooth and dependable operation even under demanding conditions. Featuring 40 mm diameter rotor arms arranged in a 120° configuration, the D4150 offers controlled yet comfortable pedestrian access.

Finish

All UMD turnstiles are supplied as standard with a primed and polyester powder-coated finish, providing a C4 protection level, with a range of standard RAL colours available at no additional cost. For more demanding environments, alternative finishes are available, including galvanising and plasticoating, offering enhanced protection and long-term durability.
